'Carry Me Home' uses movement to explore themes of illness, healing  and consolation. The dances developed out of Brenda Cantelo's  collaborative experience with Manitoba Artists in Healthcare at St.  Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Canada. Cantelo holds a Ph.D. in  Religion (Manitoba) and specializes in the areas of Religion and the  Arts, and Religion and Healing. She has produced four videos and  written on religion and architecture, painting and dance. Cantelo  teaches in the Department of Religion at the University of Manitoba,  Winnipeg, Canada.

WSO musician Zdzislaw Prochownik recorded a full concert of Mahler's Symphony No. 9 under the direction of Andrey Boreyko.  The result is a stunningly rich interpretation of this late-Romantic masterpiece.  Photographed by video artists Heidi Phillips, Wendy Buelow and Jesse Peterson and recorded live at the Centennial Concert Hall on May 13, 2006, the musicians are at their finest in this glorious interpretation of Mahler's last-completed symphony. The event begins with fascinating rehearsal footage and musician interviews, that add extra depth and insight.
